Job summary
The Accountant will manage financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and support in financial decision-making. This role involves overseeing accounts, budgets, and other essential financial functions within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Record daily transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare payroll and ensure statutory deductions are remitted on time
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT, etc.)
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors and regulators
- Monitor operating costs and recommend cost-control measures
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Requirements:
- Degree
- 2 years' experience
