Accountant Intern

Soso Care, is a fast-growing health insurtech company dedicated to improving access, efficiency, and transparency in healthcare coverage.

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to support the Finance team with daily accounting tasks. This internship is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a tech-driven, mission-oriented company. Interns will receive a monthly stipend, with the potential for permanent employment after three months based on performance.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Support month-end closing activities and basic reconciliations
• Help track expenses, invoices, and employee reimbursements
• Support preparation of financial reports and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data
• Learn and apply internal controls and accounting standards
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Innovative and Critical thinker
