Accountant & Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial performance.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts for SINC Partners and our portfolio companies.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to identify areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with department heads and startup teams to ensure budget alignment with strategic goals.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate investment opportunities, business performance, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to improve profitability, efficiency, and growth.   
• Perform cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities across the organization.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments.
• Develop cash flow projections and implement cash management strategies.
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to manage banking relationships and financing arrangements.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Identify and assess financial risks and implement risk management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
• Coordinate audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, Financial Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
