Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including income, expenses, purchases, sales, and payments.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, supplier and customer accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare periodic financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support management decision-making.
- Budgeting and Financial Planning: Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures, forecasting financial requirements, and ensuring effective use of organizational resources.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare relevant tax schedules, support tax filings and payments, and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Monitor outstanding payments and receivables, process invoices, track customer payments, and ensure timely settlement of financial obligations.
- Financial Analysis and Internal Controls: Analyze financial data, investigate irregularities, maintain proper internal controls, and help prevent errors, fraud, and misuse of company funds.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND qualification in accounting
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Remuneration: NGN 150,00 - 200, 000 monthly
