Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Farm Accountant to manage financial records, track farm performance, and support decision-making through accurate reporting and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all farm income and expenses

•
Track cost of production per cycle (feed, medication, labour, etc.)

•
Prepare periodic financial reports for management

•
Monitor budgets and identify areas for cost control

•
Manage payroll and staff-related financial records

•
Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of transactions

•
Support inventory tracking (feed, supplies, medications)

•
Provide insights to improve profitability and financial efficiency

Requirements:

•
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

•
Minimum of 2–4 years experience (farm or production environment is an added advantage)

•
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and cost analysis

•
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

•
High attention to detail and accuracy

•
Must be proactive, organised, and analytical
