Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting systems.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Monitor factory expenses, inventory costs, and operational budgets.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Support payroll processing and vendor payments.
• Management of trade receivables
• Assist management with financial planning and cost control.
• Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors during audits.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ICAN certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or factory operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Candidate must be below 35 years of age.
• Experience in inventory, stocktaking, and cost accounting.
• Appreciable understanding and usage of Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 – 450,000
