Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of account and daily financial records
- Process invoices, payments, payroll, and expense claims
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Handle tax filings and ensure statutory compliance (FIRS, PAYE, VAT, pension)
- Monitor budgets, cash flow and operational costs
- Support audits and provide financial insights to management
Requirements:
- B.Sc/HND in Accounting or a related field
- ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or AAT (or in progress) is an advantage
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics or transport
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books or similar) and Excel
- Good understanding of Nigerian tax regulations
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
