Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing year-end financial statements and monthly management accounts in line with IFRS.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure the timely completion of the financial statements audit.
- Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate, timely payments, including deduction of relevant taxes (WHT, VAT & LASG).
- Perform regular reconciliation of the fixed assets register to the fixed asset ledger, CWIP, and trial balance.
- Carry out general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly sales reports for LPG plants, RFS, and CNG business.
- Conduct financial statement analysis to support business decision-making.
Requirements:
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting or Finance-related field from an accredited institution.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in the downstream oil & gas sector.
- Recognised professional accreditation (ICAN, CFA, CIMA, or ACCA).
- Strong analytical skills; ability to perform financial statement analysis is an added advantage.
