Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
• Handle monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and assist with financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and timely filing.
• Manage payroll processing and petty cash administration.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities when required.
• Implement and maintain proper internal controls and accounting procedures.

Requirements:

• BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Accountant.
• Professional certification such as ICAN or ACA in view is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Books.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Must reside around Victoria Island, Lekki, or in easily accessible areas.
