To ensure the financial health and integrity of our growing real estate portfolios, we are seeking an organized Accountant to manage our financial operations.

Responsibilities
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, project costs, and estate cash flows.
- Project Accounting: Monitor construction budgets and cross-verify project expenses with certificates issued by the Quantity Surveyor.
- Receivables & Payables: Track incoming client payment plans for housing units and process payments to vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Tax & Compliance: Prepare and file monthly tax returns (such as VAT, WHT, and PAYE) in compliance with FIRS and local tax laws.
- Payroll Management: Oversee monthly staff payroll processing and manage pension remittances.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly cash flow updates, monthly bank reconciliations, and quarterly financial reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably within real estate or construction.
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, or ANAN) is highly desirable or in progress.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage financial deadlines.
