Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash-flow forecasts.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and petty cash administration.
- Oversee statutory tax filings (VAT, PAYE, WHT) and maintain strict compliance with local financial regulations.
- Monitor production budgets, track project expenses, and conduct routine audit reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (ICAN or ACCA) is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally within the media, creative, or service industries.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Excel).
- Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail regarding financial documentation.
