Account Reconcilation Officer

Responsibilities:

• Review the daily transaction dashboard and identify anything that does not look right.
• Investigate exceptions on the dashboard panel
• Check records and resolve chef payment disputes.
• Track pending clawbacks; verify supplier accounts from our partner suppliers who deliver produce to our chefs.
• Produce the weekly financial summary for leadership by pulling the platform reports, sanity-checking them, explaining anything unusual, and flagging trends worth attention.
• Spot patterns. Ensure refunds and/or disputes are noticed early and addressed.

Requirements:

• You have an OND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in accounts, finance operations, or reconciliation. Experience in a fintech, payments, or e-commerce environment is a strong advantage.
• You are comfortable working inside dashboards and admin panels. Most of your work happens on screen, not on paper.
• You are confident with Excel or Google Sheets when you need to pull data apart and check it.
• You are curious. When a number does not make sense, you want to know why, and you keep pulling until you find it.
• You communicate clearly. You will be explaining financial outcomes to chefs who are not accountants and to leadership who need the short version.
• You are honest and discreet. You will see sensitive financial information daily.
• Familiarity with payment platforms is a real advantage.
