Accounts Officer

Responsibilities:

• Reconciliation skills: Ability to perform bank, client-account and supplier reconciliations accurately.
• High level of accuracy and ability to detect irregularities or inconsistencies in financial records.
• Ability to analyze financial data, investigate variances, and provide practical recommendations to the Managing Director.
• Audit experience: Ability to review financial records, identify discrepancies, assess controls, and prepare audit reports to the Managing Director.
• Must demonstrate high integrity, discretion, trustworthiness, and confidentiality.
• Ability to prepare periodic audit findings, financial summaries, and compliance reports to the Managing Director.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with the Managing Director and meet reporting deadlines.
• Working knowledge of computerized accounting packages (e.g., QuickBooks is an added advantage
• Strong command of MS Excel (pivot tables and basic financial formulas).
• High level of accuracy and numerical aptitude.
• Strong ethical standards for managing sensitive financial data
• Must demonstrate high integrity, discretion, trustworthiness, and confidentiality.

Requirements:

• HND/B.Sc. in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in accounting and/or internal audit, preferably within security, facilities management, logistics, or a service company, is highly encouraged to apply.
• Financial reporting
• Financial reconciliations using MS Excel
• Experience in financial Audit
• Extremely high level of numerical accuracy
• Strong command of the use of ME Excel and MS Word
• Internet usage skills
• A male is preferred
