Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officers to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, managing accounts, and supporting the company’s financial health through effective record-keeping and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day financial transactions and accounting processes.
Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of all ledger entries.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely billing and collections.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
Prepare and file statutory remittances, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and Pension in compliance with Nigerian regulations.
Maintain updated financial records and documentation.
Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis as required.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders (banks, auditors, tax authorities).
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.

Requirements:

2 years of experience
Degree in a related field
