The Account Officer will support the Cooperative Finance Unit by managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance across all cooperative transactions.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date financial records on all cooperative transactions, including member savings, loan portfolios, interest accruals, and repayments.
- Process loan applications, manage disbursements, and track repayments in line with cooperative policies.
- Monitor monthly contributions, reconcile variances, and prepare reports on outstanding or delinquent accounts.
- Prepare periodic financial reports such as income statements, cash flow updates, and member balance summaries for management review.
- Conduct timely bank reconciliations and ensure prompt posting of all financial transactions.
- Manage third-party cooperative accounts and ensure proper documentation of all financial activities.
- Support the preparation of audit documentation and compliance with cooperative finance regulations.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of financial data and uphold ethical accounting practices.
