Account Assistant
Job summary
The Account Assistant supports the Finance and Accounts Department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
- Process payments, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain proper filing of financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist with payroll processing and statutory remittances.
- Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
