Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, journals, and accounting documentation.
- Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Monitor daily financial transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with monthly financial reporting.
- Prepare payroll calculations, salary schedules, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure proper filing of financial records and compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
- Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and audit preparation.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of accounting entries.
- Assist with financial analysis, expenditure tracking, and other accounting duties as required.
- Carry out HR-related tasks as assigned by management, in addition to the responsibilities of the role.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position as may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a BSC degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles
