3D ANIMATOR

Responsibilities:

• Create animated 3D sequences using Blender that demonstrate strong storytelling and cinematic sensibilities
• Design and implement character animations using keyframing, mocap editing, and procedural techniques
• Develop engaging shot compositions and camera movements to enhance narrative impact
• Set up and manage complex animation control rigs for characters and objects
• Implement and fine-tune ragdoll physics simulations for dynamic character interactions
• Apply film theory and editing principles to create cohesive and impactful animated sequences
• Integrate AI tools and techniques to optimize workflow and enhance creative output
• Adapt animations for use in Unity game engine environments

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Blender for 3D animation and previs
• Expertise in creating and working with animation control rigs
• Strong understanding of character animation principles and techniques
• Experience with mocap editing and keyframe animation
• Proficiency in film editing principles and their application to 3D animated sequences
• Solid grasp of film theory, including narrative structure, pacing, and visual storytelling techniques
• Creative storyteller with a passion for creating worlds and telling stories.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to creating outstanding experiences.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage complex projects independently
• Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and techniques
