Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and ultrasounds according to physician orders
- Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures
- Operate X-ray equipment and other imaging devices in a safe and effective manner
- Ensure images are of high quality and meet diagnostic standards
- Assist radiologists and other healthcare providers in interpreting imaging results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
- Collaborate with other members of the medical imaging team to ensure efficient workflow and patient care
Requirements:
- Certificate of associate's degree in radiologic technology or radiology
- Minimum academic qualification of a Diploma in radiography & sonography, anatomy and pathology
- 2 years (minimum)
- Licensing and Certification: Annual practicing/ Registration document
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques and procedures
- Strong technical skills and ability to operate imaging equipment effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
- Willingness to stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and procedures
