This role exists to protect production integrity, manage costs at source, and support consistent delivery of quality outputs through clear records, supervision, and timely escalation of issues.

Responsibilities:
Production & Output Control:
- Monitor and record daily attendance of all tailors and workshop staff
- Assign and document daily production tasks for each tailor in line with approved job orders
- Track items assigned versus items completed on a daily and weekly basis
- Ensure all completed items are clearly identified and aligned with approved company orders
- Maintain clear separation between approved company work and any non-company activities
- Promptly flag any production activity that does not align with approved instructions
Payroll Input & Labor Validation:
- Prepare accurate weekly labour and production summaries for management review
- Validate that only approved company work is reflected in payroll inputs
- Confirm quantity and type of items produced per tailor before payroll submission
- Review production records for inconsistencies or anomalies and escalate where required
- Support management with verifiable production data for payroll decision-making
Materials & Store Oversight:
- Oversee the issuance of production materials to tailors based on approved job orders
- Ensure materials are issued strictly according to documented requirements
- Track daily consumption of key materials and accessories
- Maintain visibility on stock levels and alert management in advance of shortages
- Support efforts to prevent waste, misuse, or diversion of workshop materials
Workshop Discipline & Supervision:
- Enforce workshop start times, break times, and closing procedures consistently
- Address lateness, absenteeism, or workflow disruptions promptly and professionally
- Maintain order, safety, and productivity across the workshop floor
- Support performance monitoring by identifying repeated delays or underperformance
- Escalate persistent conduct or productivity issues through appropriate channels
Reporting & Escalation:
- Submit clear weekly reports covering:
- Attendance
- Production output
- Labour summaries
- Escalate concerns relating to:
- Unapproved production activities
- Repeated lateness or absenteeism
- Materials discrepancies or misuse
- Production bottlenecks affecting delivery timelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience in tailoring, garment production, or workshop operations
- Ability to supervise and coordinate people in a production environment
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills, with ability to maintain simple records
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and firmness in enforcing standards
- Calm, fair, and professional approach to supervision and issue resolution
