Job Description/Requirements
- Oversee all workshop operations: mechanical, electrical, diagnostics, detailing, spray painting, and tyre care.
- Plan, assign, and supervise daily tasks for all technicians; conduct morning and end-of-day briefings.
- Enforce SOPs, safety standards, discipline, cleanliness, and proper use of PPE.
- Coordinate job progress with the autodiagnostician and ensure accurate job cards, timelines, and workflow tracking.
- Maintain tool registers and issue/return logs, and enforce daily tool accountability and weekly audits.
- Schedule preventive maintenance for all workshop equipment and machines.
- Monitor turnaround times, prevent downtime, and ensure jobs meet quality and completion standards.
- Confirm parts availability, verify material usage, and ensure correct posting and billing with Inventory and Accounts.
- Record reworks, customer callbacks, and quality issues; implement corrective actions and retraining.
- Conduct staff training, toolbox meetings, and mentorship, and recommend certifications for top performers.
- Support operational efficiency and uphold service excellence as ROADMECH expands and grows.
