Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Cut and join metal parts using appropriate tools and equipment
- Inspect welds to ensure strength, quality, and accuracy
- Maintain and operate welding equipment safely
- Follow all safety procedures and use protective gear at all times
- Repair and maintain metal structures and equipment
- Ensure proper alignment and finishing of welded components
- Collaborate with fabrication and engineering teams
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE / Technical certification in welding or fabrication
- Proven experience as a welder in construction, manufacturing, or oil & gas
- Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding environments
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
