Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
- Supervise warehouse staff and allocate daily tasks.
- Monitor loading, unloading, picking, packing, and delivery activities.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, organization, and handling of goods.
- Monitor warehouse safety, security, and housekeeping.
- Prepare inventory and operational reports.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams.
Requirements:
- HND/B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ warehouse experience, with supervisory/management experience.
- Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
- Experience with stock control systems and warehouse software.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Ability to manage staff and work under pressure.
