Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material handling, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain rigorous inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and the implementation of robust stock management systems.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule warehouse staff. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement through effective training and performance management.
- Coordinate closely with the transport and procurement teams to ensure timely dispatch of goods and optimal route scheduling.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of proven experience in warehouse management or supply chain operations, preferably within the logistics or freight industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proximity to Main Market, Onitsha, Anambra State. No accommodation.
