Role Description

The Volunteer Partnership & Sustainability Lead will take the lead in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships to support the objectives of GEW. Responsibilities include identifying and engaging with potential partner organizations, managing communications with existing partners, and supporting the development of sustainable initiatives and funding strategies. The candidate will also contribute to creating opportunities for collaboration between stakeholders while ensuring alignment with GEW’s mission. This is a remote volunteer role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in building and managing Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships
• Excellent Communication and Sales skills for engaging and persuading stakeholders
• Highly developed Analytical Skills for assessing opportunities and partnerships
• Ability to work independently with a proactive and goal-oriented attitude
• Experience in sustainability initiatives or economic development projects is a plus
• A strong understanding of gender equity, enterprise development, or cross-border collaboration is desirable
