Job Summary

We’re looking for a talented Video Editor to join the Braids and Wigs team remotely! Your role will focus on editing engaging beauty and lifestyle videos, turning raw footage into sleek, stylish content that captures the essence of our salon and brand, ensuring each piece reflects our salon’s modern, stylish, and confident brand.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Create short-form videos that highlight salon services, hair products, and customer experiences.
Incorporate creative transitions, captions, and effects to enhance video storytelling.
Collaborate with the social media and marketing team to execute visual campaigns.
Ensure brand consistency in tone, style, and visual presentation.
Organize and manage video assets, ensuring timely delivery of all projects.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio or sample videos required).
Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong creative eye for visuals, transitions, and social media trends.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Passion for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle content creation.
Experience editing beauty or lifestyle content.
Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and basic motion graphics.
Familiarity with social media algorithms and engagement trends.
Comfortable collaborating remotely with international teams.
