Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Edit news reports, interviews, documentaries and feature videos.
- Produce engaging video content for social media and digital platforms.
- Edit footage, audio, transitions, subtitles and visual effects.
- Collaborate with reporters, producers and the editorial team.
- Create promotional videos, highlights and campaign materials.
- Ensure accurate presentation of information and visual consistency.
- Organise and manage video files and production materials.
- Incorporate graphics, animations and relevant visual elements.
- Ensure high-quality video and audio output.
- Complete editing projects within assigned deadlines.
Requirements:
- HND or relevant certification in Film Production, Mass Communication, Multimedia or a related field.
- Proven experience in video editing and content production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar software.
- Strong storytelling, visual communication and editing skills.
- Good understanding of video formats, audio editing and colour correction.
- Ability to work with deadlines and multiple projects.
- Attention to detail and creativity.
- A portfolio or samples of previous video projects.
