Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality videos that effectively communicate key messages and tell engaging stories.
• Collaborate closely with content creators, filmmakers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.
• Use video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve to cut, trim, and arrange footage, add transitions, graphics, and special effects, and ensure seamless continuity.
• Enhance video and audio quality by adjusting color grading, audio levels, and applying filters or effects as needed.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make revisions to video edits as necessary, ensuring the final product meets quality standards and aligns with project goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies in video editing and post-production to continuously improve skills and stay ahead of the curve.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and delivering exceptional quality work.
• Organize and maintain a library of video assets, including raw footage, graphics, and audio files, ensuring efficient workflow and easy access for future projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Multimedia Arts, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling principles, and cinematic aesthetics.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards while working efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for visual storytelling and bringing ideas to life through video.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and visual effects (preferred but not required).
