Vehicle Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults in diesel trucks and buses.
• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Repair and maintain TATA, FAW, Sonatruk trucks and BRT buses.
• Inspect engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and other vehicle components.
• Respond to vehicle breakdowns and carry out on-site repairs when required.
• Identify faulty or worn-out parts and recommend appropriate replacements.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in safe and roadworthy condition.
• Keep proper records of repairs, servicing, and maintenance activities.
• Work closely with the Operations and Maintenance teams to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Follow all company safety and maintenance procedures.
• Be willing to travel or move around different operational locations as required.

Requirements:

• Proven practical experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, or Auto Mechanic.
• Hands-on experience with TATA, FAW, Sonatruk, and BRT is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle diagnostics.
• Ability to independently identify and resolve mechanical faults.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to breakdowns when required.
• Willingness to work across different operational locations.
• Relevant technical qualification or certification is an advantage.
