Utility Supervisor
Job summary
Utility Supervisor responsible for overseeing utility operations, coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring equipment efficiency, and supervising staff to maintain safe and uninterrupted utility services.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of all utility systems including boilers, compressors, chillers, generators, water treatment plants, and HVAC systems.
- Ensure continuous and efficient supply of utilities to support production activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Lead and coordinate a team of technicians and operators.
- Troubleshoot utility-related issues and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of utility consumption, maintenance activities, and system performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Support energy efficiency initiatives and cost reduction strategies.
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs.
- Participate in audits and inspections as required.
Requirements:
- A minimumHND in Mechanical Engineering or any related Engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in utility operations within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial utility systems (steam, compressed air, water systems, refrigeration, power generation).
- Familiarity with maintenance planning and execution.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Basic knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is an advantage.
