Travel Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance and assistance to clients on flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissue and revalidation of tickets, issuance of EMDs, refund applications, and other travel-related matters.
• Advise clients on flight itineraries, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and other travel-related services.
• Coordinate with airlines and approved agents to ensure smooth communication, negotiations, and procurement processes.
• Assist clients with airport check-in procedures, embassy appointments, online check-in, seat allocation, and boarding pass issuance.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Train and supervise team members to ensure excellence in customer service and achievement of sales targets.
• Negotiate pricing and commissions with external partners and travel companies.
• Manage correspondence with airlines, corporate clients, and other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for incremental sales and revenue growth within the client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date client account information.
• Facilitate efficient debt recovery from clients when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel industry.
• Strong customer service skills and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to effectively use Amadeus GDS.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and productivity.
• Flexibility to work flexible hours as required.
• IATA certification is desirable.

Location: Residency in Abuja is mandatory.
