About The Role

We are looking for a Trainee Content Assistant to join our growing content team.


This is an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes of a family travel and lifestyle brand that creates content across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.


The role will support the day-to-day running of the content operation, including reviewing footage, organising content, coordinating with video editors, preparing simple briefs, scheduling posts, researching ideas, and helping ensure content is delivered on time.


You do not need previous content industry experience. Technical skills can be taught, and full training will be provided.


We are more interested in finding someone who is genuinely interested in social media, YouTube, content creation, family brands, and digital media, while also being organised, proactive, reliable, and eager to learn.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Watching and reviewing vlog footage
  • Identifying moments that could work well as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok videos
  • Helping organise content files, footage, ideas, and publishing schedules
  • Coordinating with video editors and following up on content deadlines
  • Preparing clear and simple editing briefs
  • Uploading and scheduling content across social media platforms
  • Researching social media trends, content ideas, creators, and opportunities
  • Reviewing content performance and helping identify which ideas and formats are working
  • Keeping track of multiple content tasks, deadlines, and priorities
  • Communicating proactively when updates, delays, or further information are required
  • Supporting additional content-related projects as the brand continues to grow


What We’re Looking For

  • Has an interest in family, travel, and lifestyle content
  • Regularly follows content creators and understands what makes content engaging
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong written English and the ability to prepare clear briefs and updates
  • Reliable and follows through on commitments
  • Communicates proactively rather than waiting to be chased
  • Pays close attention to detail
  • Curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
  • Able to work independently once trained
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities from start to finish
  • Notices potential issues and takes appropriate action
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with editors and other team members


Relevant Degrees / Backgrounds May Include

  • Psychology, Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
  • Digital Media, Multimedia Arts, or Media Studies
  • Film, Television, or Content Production
  • Journalism, Creative Writing, or English
  • Business Administration or Management
  • Administrative, coordination, or operations support roles
  • Social media, community management, or content support roles


Applicants from other backgrounds will still be considered where they can demonstrate genuine interest, strong organisation, ownership, and the right attitude.


Experience

No direct content industry experience is required.


We are more interested in attitude, organisation, communication skills, ownership, enthusiasm for digital content, and willingness to learn.


Applicants may be fresh graduates, early-career professionals, or individuals looking to move into the digital content industry.


Full training will be provided.


Working Arrangement

  • Fully remote
  • Own reliable laptop and stable internet connection required
  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:30AM – 4:00PM UK working hours
  • Full-time availability required
  • Immediate start preferred
