Technical Sales Engineer – Oil & Gas and Power Generation (Nigeria)
Join a global leader in filtration solutions, driving innovation and excellence across industries. We’re looking for a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen our market presence in the Oil & Gas and Power Generation sectors in Nigeria.
Role Responsibilities
- Promote Donaldson products and services through commercial and technical support to customers and distributors
- Identify, qualify, and manage sales opportunities from prospecting through closing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with end users, OEMs, contractors, agents, and distributors
- Conduct site visits, assess customer equipment, and provide first-line technical support
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations tailored to customer requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams, engineering, pricing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure successful project delivery

Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales within Oil & Gas and Power Generation sectors in Nigeria that have gas turbines
- Proven ability to build relationships and manage key accounts independently
- Strong communication, negotiation, and administrative skills with CRM reporting experience
- Proficiency in English and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Sub-Saharan or West Africa markets and familiarity with turbomachinery or rotating equipment
- Proficiency in French language and prior experience managing resellers or distribution
