Job summary
A Technical Manager overseeing Boiler, Mechanical, and Electrical sections is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and reliability of plant utilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
Boiler & Utility Section Management
- Boiler Operation: Oversee the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of steam boilers, Chiller, Cooling tower and air compressors.
- Fuel & Feedwater: Manage fuel consumption (oil, gas, solid fuel) and feed water treatment systems to optimize efficiency and reduce emissions.
- Pressure Systems: Ensure all pressure vessels, piping systems, and burners meet statutory regulations, safety standards, and insurance requirements.
Mechanical & Maintenance Section
- Preventive/Predictive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance (PPM/CM): Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules for all mechanical plant equipment, including conveyors, pumps, and valves, to maximize uptime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical failures and lead root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.
- Rotating Equipment: Supervise the maintenance of pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes.
- Contractor Management: Oversee external contractors for specialized maintenance or installation projects.
- Documentation: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all machinery.
Electrical & Automation Section
- Power Distribution: Manage High Voltage/Low Voltage (HV/LV) switchgear, transformers, generators, and distribution boards.
- Instrumentation & Controls: Maintain PLC systems, HMI, Servo drives, and sensors.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations adhere to safety standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA) and conduct safety inspections of electrical tools.
Leadership & Administration
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of technicians, engineers, and contractors, providing technical training and performance evaluations.
- Budgeting: Manage operational expenditure (OpEx) and capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets, optimizing spare parts inventory, and reducing maintenance costs.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to QHSE policies, statutory inspections, and risk assessments.
- Documentation: Prepare daily/monthly reports on equipment performance, breakdowns, maintenance, KPI, development, and maintenance of SOP and checklist.
- Auxiliaries: Maintain all equipment, such as fans and blowers. Etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Minimum of a BSc
