We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Collections Team Lead to supervise and motivate a team of loan collectors. Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of loan collectors.
- Monitor daily collection activities and ensure targets are met.
- Track collectors’ performance and provide coaching where necessary.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Handle escalated customer issues and repayment negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and collection procedures.
- Conduct team meetings and performance reviews.
- Train and mentor new collection staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in any discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in debt recovery, collections, or a related field.
- Previous team leadership experience is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
