Teaching Officer

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and deliver training programs, workshops, and instructional sessions
• Prepare training materials, presentations, manuals, and learning resources
• Conduct classroom, virtual, and practical training sessions as required
• Assess participants' learning needs and tailor training content accordingly
• Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, tests, and practical exercises
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements where necessary
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance reports, and evaluation results
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support to trainees
• Collaborate with department managers to identify skill gaps and training needs
• Ensure training programs align with organizational objectives and industry standards
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new training methodologies
• Support onboarding and orientation programs for new employees

Requirements:

• Minimum of an HND in Education or a related field
• Proven years of experience in training, learning, and development, teaching, coaching, or instructional roles
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
• Experience developing training materials and instructional content
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching abilities
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual learning platforms
• Ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt training methods to different learning styles
