Job summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable, engaging, and results-oriented Teaching Officer/Instructor to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and deliver training programs, workshops, and instructional sessions
- Prepare training materials, presentations, manuals, and learning resources
- Conduct classroom, virtual, and practical training sessions as required
- Assess participants' learning needs and tailor training content accordingly
- Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, tests, and practical exercises
- Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements where necessary
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance reports, and evaluation results
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support to trainees
- Collaborate with department managers to identify skill gaps and training needs
- Ensure training programs align with organizational objectives and industry standards
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new training methodologies
- Support onboarding and orientation programs for new employees
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Education or a related field
- Proven years of experience in training, learning, and development, teaching, coaching, or instructional roles
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Experience developing training materials and instructional content
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual learning platforms
- Ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt training methods to different learning styles
