Tally Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tally Accountant to manage and maintain accurate financial records for our LPG operations. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Tally ERP software, strong accounting knowledge, and familiarity with financial processes within the LPG or related Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

-Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records using Tally ERP.

-Prepare, verify, and post accounting entries related to sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.

-Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers regularly.

-Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets.

-Track inventory and ensure proper valuation in coordination with the store and production departments.

-Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

-Support in statutory compliance such as VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory filings.

-Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

-Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

-Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and company records.

Qualifications & Requirements

-Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Certification: ICAN, ANAN etc

-3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the LPG, FMCG, or Oil & Gas sector.

-Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 (or newer versions) is mandatory.

-Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

-Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

-Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

-High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accuracy.

-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
