Job Title: Talent Acquisition & Engagement Executive
Location: Kano (Hybrid)
Salary: ₦330,000 – ₦400,000 (Competitive, based on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for a high-performing Talent Acquisition & Engagement Executive based in Kano, with a proven track record of recruiting top-tier sales professionals—especially those experienced in financial products such as loans, investments, and related services.
This role is not for entry-level recruiters. We want a problem-solver, a talent hunter, and a strategic thinker who understands that great salespeople drive business growth.
If you know how to identify, attract, assess, and retain sales talents who consistently deliver results, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment cycle for sales and business development roles, particularly within financial services (loans, investments, fintech, financial products).
- Proactively source, screen, and close high-quality sales candidates using strategic and non-traditional recruitment methods.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline of experienced financial sales professionals in Kano and surrounding regions.
- Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand business needs and translate them into effective hiring strategies.
- Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews to assess sales performance, ethics, and cultural fit.
- Drive candidate engagement and experience, ensuring professionalism and transparency throughout the hiring process.
Track recruitment metrics, time-to-hire, and quality-of-hire, and continuously improve hiring outcomes.
- Support onboarding and engagement initiatives to improve retention and performance of hired sales staff.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience in Talent Acquisition, with strong focus on sales recruitment.
- Proven success recruiting sales executives with experience in financial products (loans, investments, banking, fintech, microfinance, or similar).
- Strong understanding of sales performance indicators and what differentiates average sellers from top performers.
- Excellent interviewing, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple roles, and deliver results under pressure.
- Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Must be based in Kano and familiar with the local talent market.
