We are building a core consulting group of expert educators who can teach better than AI—professionals who know how to connect with students, pace a lesson, and explain complex concepts with clarity and warmth.

The Role

As a Subject matter Teacher, you will serve as the pedagogical bridge between our AI-generated curriculum and our students. Working with pre-built slide decks and speaker notes, your objective is to inject the "human element" into the curriculum. You will refine the flow, tone, and visual pacing of our lessons to ensure they feel natural, relatable, and highly effective for students preparing for crucial examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Script & Tone Refinement: Transform AI-generated speaker notes from robotic text into engaging, conversational teaching scripts. You will dictate the tone, energy, and phrasing that actually makes a student grasp the material.
• Contextualization: Inject real-world, highly relatable examples—including localized Nigerian contexts where appropriate—to help students understand abstract concepts (e.g., applying real-life scenarios to Gas Laws).
• Visual Pacing & Slide Optimization: Audit the generated slides for readability and flow. You will enlarge text for clarity, split dense slides to prevent cognitive overload, and ensure the visual aids perfectly sync with the spoken instruction.
• Lesson Synergy: Ensure seamless transitions across all lesson sections (Introductions, Objectives, Key Points) so that the educational journey builds logically.

• An eye for presentation design and the judgment to know when a visual aid is helping or hindering a lesson.

Growth & Future Opportunities

This role begins with paid, per-presentation refinement tasks. However, we are actively looking to identify one lead teacher per subject to join our permanent core consulting group. As the platform scales, these lead consultants will be invited to host live, interactive tutoring sessions directly with goFIKO students.
