Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Student Service Officer at Westford Global Education. The Student Service Officer will serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and current learners, responding to inquiries, providing guidance on programs, and supporting students throughout their academic journey. Daily responsibilities include handling student onboarding, maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with academic and administrative teams, and providing timely updates on schedules, policies, and requirements. The role involves supporting student counseling and welfare needs, addressing service issues promptly, and escalating complex cases when necessary. The Student Service Officer will also contribute to virtual events, orientation sessions, and communication initiatives that enhance student engagement and retention.
Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with diverse learners, families, and partners.
  • Experience in Student Affairs and Student Counseling to support learners’ academic and personal success.
  • Background or familiarity with Career Counseling to guide students on progression pathways and employability options.
  • Ability to manage student records, prioritize tasks, and use digital tools and CRM or student information systems effectively.
  • Demonstrated empathy, cultural sensitivity, and problem-solving skills in learner-facing roles, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment and collaborating across international, cross-functional teams.
