Store Manager

Responsibilities:

• Facilitates the availability and retrieval of goods to the store for the customer’s satisfaction
• Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, expand store traffic, and optimise profitability
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.).
• Ensure a routine check is carried out to identify and report soon-to-expire products
• Ensure timely supply to sales representatives' requests for products needed on the shelf and proper tagging of price changes
• Control losses that arise from damaged products, product stock-outs, and expired products
• Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations and liaise with government agencies
• Additional store manager duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a managerial role
• Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or possess an exemption letter.
• Must be computer literate and able to work using Microsoft packages.
• Proven successful experience as a retail Store Manager
• Powerful leadership skills and business orientation

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to commute/relocate
• Preferable male

Remuneration: NGN 150,000.00 - 200,000.00 monthly.
