Role Description The Sonographer at Karevault will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and other studies as requested by clinicians. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, acquiring high-quality images, and documenting findings in electronic health records in alignment with Karevault’s digital healthcare workflows. The role involves collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support faster diagnosis, continuous monitoring, and improved patient outcomes. The Sonographer will follow established protocols, maintain equipment, adhere to safety and infection control standards, and provide clear, compassionate communication to patients. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nigeria.
Qualifications

• Clinical and medical knowledge in Medicine and Radiology to perform and interpret diagnostic sonographic procedures appropriately.
• Professional certification such as American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or equivalent relevant credentials.
• Specialized expertise in Vascular ultrasound imaging and related diagnostic techniques.
• Diploma or degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiography, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience working in outpatient or primary care settings, preferably within digital or technology-enabled healthcare environments.
• Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems, with strong attention to detail and image quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and provide respectful, culturally sensitive patient care.
• Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to clinical guidelines, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of sonography best practices.
