Job summary
We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Content VA to manage daily short-form video production and community engagement across two YouTube channels, Talk With Richey (@talkwithrichey) and Richey Explores (@RicheyExplores) and their associated social media platforms. This is a remote, full-time role open to candidates based in Africa.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
Video Clipping & Editing:
- Clip 3–4 YouTube Shorts per day from long-form videos across both channels
- Add captions, text overlays, trending audio, and light motion graphics as needed
- Ensure each clip has a strong hook in the first 3 seconds
- Maintain the tone and personality of each channel (Talk With Richey = finance/AI/side hustles; Richey Explores = travel/Africa)
Daily Posting & Scheduling:
- Schedule and post content daily across YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and WhatsApp Channel
- Write captions and select relevant hashtags for each platform
- Monitor best posting times for each platform and adjust scheduling accordingly
- Maintain a content calendar and track what's been posted
Community Engagement:
- Monitor and reply to comments across all platforms, daily
- Like, pin, and respond to top comments within 24 hours of posting
- Flag important questions, negative comments, or brand mentions to the channel owner
- Help grow a warm, engaged community, not just post and disappear
Requirements:
- Proven experience editing short-form video (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
- Strong English writing skills, captions need to sound human, not robotic
- Familiarity with YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok best practices
- Organised and consistent, this role requires daily delivery, no off days
- Able to take initiative without needing to be micromanaged
- Understanding of the African digital audience is a strong plus

Compensation & Terms:
- Remuneration: NGN 150,000 Monthly
- Remote, work from anywhere in Africa
- Full-time commitment required; this is not a part-time or side gig role
- 30-day paid trial before contract confirmation
- Exclusivity clause applies; you may not manage competing channels during this engagement
