Slickline Operator
Job summary
The Slickline Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently carrying out slickline well intervention operations, including the installation, retrieval, and manipulation of downhole tools and equipment. The role involves operating slickline units, pressure-control equipment, and associated well intervention equipment.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Operate and maintain slickline equipment, including winches, wireline units, depth counters, hydraulic systems, and associated equipment.

Conduct slickline operations for running, retrieving, setting, and manipulating downhole tools.

Rig up and rig down slickline equipment and pressure-control equipment.

Perform well intervention activities such as running and pulling plugs, setting and retrieving wireline-retrievable equipment, running gauge cutters, impression blocks, jars, pulling tools, shifting tools, and other downhole tools, manipulating sliding sleeves and other completion components, carrying out pre-job inspections, function tests, and equipment checks, conduct toolbox talks, JSA/JHA reviews, and pre-job safety meetings.
Follow approved operating procedures, well programs, and client instructions.

Identify and report equipment defects, operational abnormalities, and HSE hazards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience
- A minimum of SSCE
