Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation to guide construction processes.
  • Manage labour, materials, and equipment to optimise efficiency and minimise wastage.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve site-related issues.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures, conducting inspections and initiating corrective actions as required.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
  • Monitor project schedules to ensure milestones are achieved within approved timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with infrastructure standards, industry best practices, and safety regulations.
  • Utilise project management and engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project) for planning, monitoring, and reporting tasks.
  • Foster effective communication with stakeholders to maintain smooth project execution.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably within infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality assurance, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant software.
  • Proven ability to manage resources, oversee site operations, and deliver accurate project reports.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
