Production Shift In-Charge / Lead Plant

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate production activities during assigned shifts.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the production/lead plant.
• Monitor production output, equipment performance, and process parameters.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Lead, motivate, and manage production personnel within the assigned shift.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, equipment breakdowns, and production bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to minimise downtime.
• Ensure strict compliance with plant safety procedures and operational standards.
• Monitor the proper use of raw materials and minimise production losses and wastage.

Requirements

• B.E. / B.Tech. in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant production/plant experience.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial production environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, plant operations, and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead shift teams.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production targets.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
