We are looking for an experienced SEO Expert with WordPress knowledge to support ongoing SEO work, including keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, Google Search Console, content optimisation, internal linking and website performance improvements. Flexible hours available.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Audit and improve the website’s current SEO setup.
- Review and optimise WordPress pages, titles, meta descriptions, headings and URLs.
- Carry out keyword research for our services and target locations.
- Improve on-page SEO for service pages and landing pages.
- Check and improve internal linking structure.
- Review Google Search Console issues, indexing, sitemap, and performance data.
- Check technical SEO issues, including broken links, redirects, duplicate content, and canonical tags.
- Recommend improvements for Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile SEO.
- Help optimise WordPress SEO plugins such as Rank Math.
- Suggest content updates to improve organic rankings and user experience.
- Monitor SEO progress and provide regular updates.
- Work with our web developer when technical changes are required.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with SEO.
- Good experience with WordPress.
- Experience with Google Search Console.
- Experience with GA4 is an advantage.
- Knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and local SEO.
- Experience with SEO plugins such as Rank Math.
- Ability to research keywords and optimise pages properly.
- Understanding of website structure, internal links, metadata, schema, and indexing.
- Ability to identify SEO issues and explain them clearly.
- Good communication and attention to detail
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Elementor websites.
- Experience with service-based businesses.
- Experience with local SEO.
- Experience with multilingual or translation-service websites.
- Basic understanding of Google Ads landing pages.
- Ability to write or improve SEO-friendly website content.
- Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, PageSpeed Insights, or similar.
