Senior, Tax & Audit

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to evaluate client requirements, and plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end audit/tax projects for a wide range of corporate clients in multiple economic and industrial sectors.
• Organizing and managing internal audit/tax projects according to audit plans.
• Provide support to engagement team members.
• Managing multiple relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Responsible for the audit team in the area of supervising, motivating, and developing junior team members.
• Perform effective risk and control assessments.
• Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency in the control, compliance and finance management, and documentation processes of clients.
• Overseeing the process of audits, making recommendations on policies, and ensuring that the organization fulfills international and governmental obligations of compliance.
• Managing multiple relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Review the work of junior team members.

Requirements:

• Taxation and IFRS competency;
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar Taxation, Assurance; Consulting Environment;
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites with at least two [2] years of work experience using Audit and Accounting software.
• B.SC or HND in any social science discipline plus ACCA, ACA or ICMA.
• Team player; proven leadership; and strong communication skills – both oral and written.
• Registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission [SEC] as SPONSORED INDIVIDUAL will be an added advantage.

Remuneration: NGN 4,800,000.00 per annum
