Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with overall business goals, target key audiences, and enhance brand awareness across all major platforms.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of social media specialists, content creators, and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of social media campaigns, ensuring consistency, creativity, and alignment with brand messaging.
- Content Development: Lead the creation of compelling, platform-specific content (including graphics, videos, and copy) that engages audiences and drives social media growth.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, using insights to optimize strategies and improve campaign outcomes.
- Community Management: Oversee community engagement efforts, ensuring timely responses to comments, messages, and inquiries, while building strong relationships with our audience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, PR, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated campaigns across all channels.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to keep our strategies current and effective.
- Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to protect and enhance the brand’s reputation in challenging situations
- Budget Management: Manage social media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), including their respective algorithms, best practices, and analytics tools.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing a social media team, with strong mentoring and team-building skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies that align with broader marketing goals and drive measurable results.
- Content Creation: Strong creative skills, with experience in leading content creation across various formats, including visual, video, and written content.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in social media analytics and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social), with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content and present strategies and results to stakeholders.
- Crisis Management: Experience in handling social media crises with a calm, strategic approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in social media marketing or digital marketing.
