Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Market & Corridor Development:

  • Own and develop priority trade and payment corridors relevant to Nigeria
  • Identify and acquire high-volume customers across fintech, PSPs, import/export, payroll, logistics, marketplaces and travel sectors
  • Build a corridor-focused pipeline aligned to revenue and TPV targets

 

Revenue & Client Acquisition:

  • Manage the full commercial lifecycle from prospecting to client activation
  • Close revenue-generating deals across FX, WaaS, vIBANs, global payouts, collections, and crypto rails
  • Collaborate with Treasury to align pricing, liquidity, and execution readiness


Client Activation & Growth:

  • Ensure newly onboarded clients complete their first transactions within agreed SLAs
  • Proactively resolve activation blockers — pricing, compliance, and operational constraints
  • Support smooth handover of activated accounts to Account Management and Treasury Sales


Partnerships & Embedded Distribution:

  • Support partner-led acquisition via ERP, payroll, marketplace, and PSP integrations
  • Participate in co-selling with banks, fintechs, and SaaS platforms
  • Contribute to partnership proposals, pitch decks, and commercial documentation


Reporting & Collaboration:

  • Maintain accurate CRM records — pipeline stage, expected TPV, product mix, and activation status
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly performance reports


Requirements:

  • 3–7 years in fintech, payments, FX, banking, or treasury-related sales
  • Proven track record in B2B financial, API-driven, or platform product sales — a strong advantage
  • Deep understanding of cross-border payments and African / global trade corridors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and deal-closing skills
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex financial and technical products
  • Data-driven, performance-oriented mindset with high CRM discipline
  • High integrity and strong compliance awareness
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth, autonomous environments
